Integrations

Connect Stripe, Square, and your own Google Gemini key.

Open My Clinic → Integrations to connect outside services. You need the same access as payment settings.

Find an integration

Each service is a card. Filter by All, Artificial Intelligence, or Payments, or search by name. The list is meant to grow, so the filters stay on the page.

A card shows Connected when that service is on, or Coming soon when it is listed but not ready to connect.

Payments

Stripe and Square are in the Payments category.

Stripe

  1. Create or open your Stripe account (the clinic's, not ClinicGem's).
  2. In the Stripe Dashboard, copy the Publishable key and Secret key. Test keys are fine while you try the product.
  3. On the Stripe card, click Connect Stripe.
  4. Paste the keys, choose Sandbox or Live, and save. Disconnect removes them.

No-show charges use those keys and settle in your Stripe account. ClinicGem never receives the money. Full card numbers never touch ClinicGem. Secret keys are encrypted and are not shown again after you save.

Square

Click Connect Square, then enter the application ID, access token, and an optional location ID. Choose Sandbox or Live before you save. Disconnect removes the connection.

Artificial intelligence

AI providers use your own API key. The provider bills your clinic directly.

Google Gemini

Only the clinic owner can add or change the key. Other team members can see whether it is connected.

  1. Create a key in Google AI Studio and copy the whole key.
  2. On the Google Gemini card, click Connect Gemini.
  3. Paste the key and click Connect. ClinicGem checks the key with Google before saving it.

After you save, the card shows Connected and only the last 4 characters of the key. The full key is encrypted and is never shown again, not even to you. To change it, click Replace Key. Test checks the saved key with Google again. Disconnect deletes the key.

Once connected, team members who chart can use Translate with AI on treatment notes. See Treatment notes. Use a key from a Google Cloud project with billing enabled: Google may use free-tier requests to improve its products, and treatment notes contain health information.

If Google rejects the key, nothing is saved. Check that the key is active in Google AI Studio and try again. After 5 attempts in 15 minutes, wait before trying again.

Anthropic and OpenAI are marked Coming soon and cannot be connected yet.
